Dorset Arms Angling Club is a coarse fishing club based in the East Sussex area of England with some excellent coarse fishing avilable to members on 8 stillwater lake venues.

Buckhurst Park Main Lake
The largest of DAAC's coarse fishing lakes, at about 10 acres this lake is spectacular in looks & fish. From large Carp to numerous 'Jack' Pike. This lake has something for everyone. Perch [to 3lb], tench [to 8lb+], Bream [to 5lb+], Roach/Rudd [to 2lb], [Pike to 18lb+], Carp [to 20lb+].

Buckhurst Park Top Lake
Known to most Members as DAAC's Carp lake, but with an impressive head of large Pike. By Summer this lake has several large beds of Lilly Pads with marginal reed beds scattered around. Perch [to 3lb], 3lbTench [to 6lb+], Bream [to 4lb+], Roach/Rudd [to 1lb+], Pike [to 18lb+], Carp [to 20lb+].

Buckhurst Park Middle Lake
Another pretty coarse fishing pond fringed with reeds & Lilly Pads. Varying in depth from the shallow reed end down to the deeper dam end. Home to some large residents. Perch [to 3lb+], Tench [to 6lb], Bream [to 4lb], Roach/Rudd [to 2lb], Pike [to 15lb+], Carp [to 20+].

Buckhurst Park Bottom Lake
A beautiful coarse fishing pond in its own rights, surrounded by flowering bushes & over hanging oaks. Most are deterred by its low water levels but quality fishing can be had. Perch [to 2lb+], Tench [to 6lb], Bream [to 3lb], Roach/Rudd [to 2lb], Pike [to 12lb+], Carp [to 20+].

Burswood Top Lake
The smallest of DAAC' waters, covered in dense Lilly Pads during the Summer months. Ideally suited to one or two anglers at one time. Perch [to 3lb+], Tench [to 6lb], Bream [to 3lb], Roach/Rudd [to 1lb+], Carp [size unknown].

Burswood Bottom Lake
Rod bending action can be had at this 11/2 acre lake by some super fit Carp. If the Carp don't tempt you then the equally impressive Tench are here to be wrestled with. A lake offering many swims, fishing in open water or to Lilly Pads its your choice. Perch [to 3lb+], Tench [to 6lb], Bream [to 2lb], Roach/Rudd [to 1lb], Crucian Carp [to 1lb 8oz], Carp [to 17lb].

Birchden Lake
This coarse fishing lake is situated amongst a day ticket complex. Club Members can gain access to the other lakes at the current day ticket price. Rumour has it that this smallish water is the home to the 'Animal' (a large Carp yet to be caught) Perch [to 3lb], Tench [to 4lb], Bream [to 3lb], Roach/Rudd [to 1lb], Carp [to 8lb].

Scarlett's Lake
Scarlett's Lake is about 4 acres in size set in the heart of Hammerwood. The lake is divided by a central island which see's quite dramatic depth changes either side of its banks. The lake also has a smaller island situated in the eastern end of the lake known as the 'Dam End' which has water levels to the depth of 8ft in places. Carp [to 30lb+], Tench [to 5lb+], Bream [to 5lb plus], Roach [to 2lb 8oz].
- this water is limited to ten anglers per day & night by prior arrangement with John.
- night tickets will cost an additional £5 to fish.
