Welcome to the UK Fisherman diary pages.
Here you will find not only detailed reports of my attempts at fishing but also dates for your diary.

The team at Captive Angler are holding a fund raising event at Winton's Fishery Burgess Hill West Sussex.

Andrew Rye from Captive Angler explains:
"We are holding the event to raise sponsorship towards the 27th annual Flora London Marathon on April 22rd 2007"
"I will be running on behalf of The Disabilities Trust, a charity who continue to create new, innovative services to meet the needs of people with autism, acquired brain injury and physical disability."
"To raise the much needed funds we have teamed up with Winton's Fishery in West Sussex to hold a 48hr Carp competition from the 27th - 29th April 2007 with 12 anglers fishing in pairs to catch the largest combined weight of carp and catfish."
"To help us to raise as much money as possible we are asking some of the top angling manufacturers, bait companies and fisheries to donate anything that you can to be put into our charity raffle, auction, and entry packs.
It would mean a huge amount to our cause if you were able to help us with a donation of some merchandise, as I know that with your help the event will be an even greater success."
"This will be our third charity carp and catfish competition and to date we have raised in excess of £5,500 for the Trust. Hopefully with your help 2007 will beat all previous efforts to raise over £2,500."
