Just had a really enjoyable weekend staying in one of the "lodges". Location was really quiet and accomodation very good quality, with use of the golf club bar and restaurant, if you didn't want to travel too far.
The fishing was good, with plenty of carp in the 1-5lb range. Not somewhere to go if you want to catch big fish, but good fun.
I found that luncheon meat fished "on the drop", over pellets seemed to work well and don't be afraid to step up the size of the bait as it starts to get dark. Also try dropping the bait very close in, as you could see the fish under your feet and they were very catchable!
