This river still has a few good fish in it when you can find them now, the fishing has deteriorated over the last three or four years. Boat traffic can be a nuisance at times also there has been a lot of poaching going on.We used to fish it regularly for the bream and roach but the going has been progressively harder for about 3 seasons. Predation and Poaching are a real cause for concern.

Afraid i have to agree with you we found lines in the water with multiple hooks on them strung out over the river,....bad news!!.Further on was a camp site with rubbish strewn all over the bank. Why isn't the Environmental Agency doing something about this!!

Saw some blokes fishing this river near Cambridge out of season with spinning tackle, they ran off when we appeared. Where are the Environmental agency bailiffs to stop this illegal activity?found a dead pike in a bag nearby.
