This river still has a few good fish in it when you can find them now, the fishing has deteriorated over the last three or four years. Boat traffic can be a nuisance at times also there has been a lot of poaching going on.We used to fish it regularly for the bream and roach but the going has been progressively harder for about 3 seasons.
Predation and Poaching are a real cause for concern.

Afraid i have to agree with you we found lines in the water with multiple hooks on them strung out over the river,....bad news!!.Further on was a camp site with rubbish strewn all over the bank.
Why isn't the Environmental Agency doing something about this!!
