Hi all, how good is this fishery? I've been spoilt recently with a couple of amazing days fishing In blasford hill, little waltham and entire farm in ingatestone. We were pulling nice carp and loads of silver's by the dozen. No thousand pound set ups were required just a decent bit of line and some dog biscuits or trout pellets

lake that feeds these lakes had a strange virus last year in that the pond that feeds it and these lakes that comes from it had all the fish die. by what was thought to be poison from the farmer who had a sprayer go wrong. now he is draining the lake and removed all the poluted soil from the lake bed. as of Easter 2011
and these lakes have been disturbed by the diggers and tractors also the silt and mud.
advise you keep clear for a while untill it is 100% safe as what ever the disese was or is has gone you could transfer it to your lake from here on nets etc.
