Got there about 3pm set up and within 20 mins caught nice common of about 1.5lb, recast and 1hr later caught another nice common of 5lb, cast again and after 5 mins hooked into a big one got it in the net and it was a 12lb ghost carp. After all that i give up carp fishing and put the pole out and filled a keep net of silver fish and that finished my day.

Could not fault this place sensible rules no stupid ones! a place you can take the Mrs, kids when your on holiday.Pity it was not bigger but for a small fishery offering a nice days tranquil fishing OK.Was told that Otters/Cormorants were of real concern hope that does not cause a lot of aquatic life and fish maiming /damage for this place to continue to exist.

Not to be taken to seriously, very busy at times during the holiday season,a reasonable stock of fish. It is not a commercial so no really stupid rules the surroundings are pleasant.A mixed fishery for all age groups.Don't know whether it has a predator problem yet that is the only worry.
