Dave the only way the lake will become a decent fishing lake is if there's a on site bailiff and the lake gets restocked but cant see that happening.

The lake looks like it has a lot of potential it looks like a really good venue and should be run by people who actually have an interest in fishing.

alvaston lake was a good fisherie not so long back but now its run down and full of weed you just carnt fish their anymore its distcusting! i would love to get it back on track.
Alvaston Park used to be a good venue, Not any more its a run down duck pond now. Half the carp have been caught and stolen and taken out to other venues and alot of fish have simply perished due to neglect from the council not looking after the lake and small minded people vandalising the place.
