Started fishing again as of June  l have fished two of the three lakes, Guys the fishery is a credit to you for all the hard work you must have put in.
l have now fished a few times with some good / great fishing, have had some nice double figure carp out. Its a real pleasure to fish with helpful advise on hand and food " nothing better than a bacon butty after a couple of hours fishing"
l shall be using this fishery for some time to come, All the guys

It's been years since I fished Castle Ashby, haven't been since I was about 15/16 now I'm 27...

Back in the day it was a great water but I've heard mixed messaged about it these days. One of the best days I had was spent bagging crucian's from Brickyard pond... I was so young at the time I didn't realise the average size was so impressive. I think they averaged over 1lb each, thats a pretty decent head of crucian by anyone's standard right?

Thing is, are they still there? I have no idea. I'll be back this summer to find out.
