Started on this Venue earlie March 2011 - my first Snake Lake.
Well it was superb, Carp after Carp, Mirror common it didnt matter, Corn or pellet. As the Months moved on and i think it
must have been May - late May, the water had turned chocolate Brown, and i struggled to find anything, later on in the day as
usual i heard a voice asking me about catch rate, and i replied
about the water, the guy told me it was a dye they had put in
to remove the weed. The Water enviroment Agency had advised this way but the fishing was dissapointing after this, i fished it
later on in July and had just one carp, and again in August and
had just a few more but that was that, i havent been back since. I did like this venue and will return soon, when the water is just off clear catches for me weigh in at about 60 - 70 pound easy from ped 71 - A lovely place with a lovely setting and Staff are very freindly espacialy the Lady in the kitchen. 9/10
