    hi my names david just wondering if the lake is still open nd if its open to the public i see theres a big silver gate at the front that u have to go through but i see its been closed for a while thanks.

    went past the lake today - 30/05/2011 its definatly open packed with fisherman.

    I'm not sure if it's open still because every time I drive past it the gates are locked. Let me know if you have any joy.
    I only float fished it years ago and was catching crusian carp all day long. But I've heard there's big carp in there too.

    Hi,

    Any confirmation on whether this lake is open? I used to love fishing there as it was local and quite peaceful considering the location. Last I heard the owner of the house at the back of the lake wasn't interested in letting people fish it so it has kind of been neglected.
