I fish this part alot and it has some brilliant silver fish ... there are also a few barbel and chub but these are genrally small, the best part is the predators it has huge perch and pike!The only bad thing is as it is a free stretch there are alot of dog walkers ... and alot of the time dogs jump into the water, for dace and chub try maggot feeder but for pearch and pike use mino either free line or float. to get pike and pearch into your swim try chucking bread out!
