Whatever is on your mind, here is the place to let it out. Want to tell us about a fishery that you have fished lately, want to moan about the price of boilies .... honestly, whatever is on your mind, just let us know and we'll post it here.

Have been fishing at Pondwood Fisheries (in Berkshire) for a few years now, its a great place and always have a great time catching lots of catfish and carp.
I am Paddy from a charity called "PADS ARMY". I was at Monk Lakes, Staplehurst, Kent over the weekend and fished Bridge Lake from one of the disabled platforms that have been built by the owner and my charity. There is another on Puma. These platforms accommodate a wheelchair with ease. We are in talks with the owner to get some more built for the disabled anglers. I would recommend the fishery as the staff are very helpful and will give advise on where is the best place to fish.
I had a very enjoyable day. Well worth the £8 for two rods. Had a 17lbs 4ozs common carp out of Bridge Lake.
Oh just a thought, we have three charity matches coming up in MAY /JULY /SEPTEMBER. Hope to see you there.
Good for Monk Lakes. Its time more venues took a leaf from your book - pj, UK Fisherman
I love fishing the Lizard Lakes and I always catch something big. I would like to say the lakes are brilliant.
Lizard Fisheries in West Drayton, Middlesex does produce some great fishing and rarely disappoints. Having fished there many times I agree whole heartedly with Elliott's comments - pj, UK Fisherman.
About 35 years ago read an article in a copy of the American "Field & Stream" magazine and with my mates "Bob" Smith, "Cyril" White", "Brian" and "Jim" Quinn went "Pike Fly Fishing" on the river Thames at Henley. Using trout fly tackle, wire traces and streamer lures made from long feathers and dear hair. We caught a number of pike between us up to about 5lbs in weight and very good sport on light tackle in the river from the bank, an elderly couple who had been watching asked if we were fishing for steelheads, as they had seen the method we were using being used by anglers on their local river back home in America. Have lost touch with my old friends but reading your article on your first fly caught pike prompted me to write you of mine. With all good wishes ...
Tom Hall Wonderful memories eh Tom - ed.
Recentley fished Bedfont Lakes, Feltham. Set up method feeder with 12lbs hair rig with halibut pellet 12mm. You really need to bait up your swim to get the fish feeding. I regulary chucked in big handfalls of groundbait every half hour. Took two big mirrors at 35lbs and a big common at 36lbs ... its easy if u get this tactic right.
Great advice ... thanks Paul - ed
